What’s the cheapest tickets?
- The “Advance” tickets are the cheapest. The earlier you book the cheaper it is.
- The “Super Off-Peak” tickets are second cheapest.
- The “Off-Peak” tickets are the third cheapest tickets.
- The “Anytime” are the most expensive tickets.
Can I use my railcard for a discount?

Are refunds available?
On the advanced ticket then it’s not available.
On the “Super Off-Peak”, “Off-Peak” and “Anytime” ticket you can get a refund within 28 days of the ticket expiring minus a 10 pound fee.
Are the tickets sold as single and return tickets?
The “Advance” ticket is sold as single only. You can however combine two advance tickets to get a return as well.
The “Super Off-Peak”, “Off-Peak” and “Anytime” are sold as single and return tickets.
When do I need to buy the ticket?
With the “Advance” ticket you can purchase before your day of travel or 12 weeks in advance.
The “Super Off-Peak”, “Off-Peak” and “Anytime” ticket you can purchase on your day of travel or before that.
